Here are a bunch of self promotion pieces. Some of these were completed as student projects and others were just ideas. The portfolio CD was produced using Macromedia Director and sent out instead of a resume. This also includes my very first website ironically designed in a blog format.

Forsythe Group Logo Concepts
This is another group of logo concepts. The Forsythe Group engaged in multiple businesses mostly geared toward the business realty, mortgage, and business manufacturing areas. The logo was one of the Pearson Design projects that ended when the studio closed in 1996. As far as I know these concepts were never shown to the client.

Employment Journal
The Employment Journal was a tabloid style newsprint publication for career and employment news in Louisiana. It was originally managed by Erik Pearson the brother of the late Alicia Pearson of Pearson Design. I did mostly the final design and production for several issues until Peason Design closed.

Community Trust Bank Projects
These are a couple of the projects completed for Community Trust Bank while I was working at Pearson Design. One was an informative two color brochure for their telephone banking program. The other was the design for a loan application kiosk. I find it ironic how the web has changed things.

Radio People Logo
This was my concept for the Radio People of Monroe, Louisiana completed for Pearson Design. This logo was not used for the final client presentation. This version was a little overworked, but I think the final revision would have been really nice.

City of Ruston Brochure
Gary Hauser, Professor of Graphic Design, at Louisiana Tech designed this brochure for the city of Ruston, Louisiana. He asked me to complete a cleaned up production ready file. This included some of the graphic chart elements and setting up the file for four color separation with a gloss for the bow on the cover.

This was a fictional company campaign completed for an interdependent study course. The fictional company was an on call support center specifically to help members of graphic design industry deal with production related problems. Louisana Tech Art Scholarship Poster
This was an entry into an poster contest for promoting art scholarships to the Louisiana Tech School of Art. The design called for a pretty complicated two color print that was ruled two expensive. I didn’t win the competition, but pushing the limits of two color print work was very interesting.
