It’s always fun when the smallest selfish ideas become places for learning, ha!.

I built this one little thing that can typically hang out on the home page to show a random featured image from a category of posts. I’m sure there are other ways, but having worked on some neat block themes in other places, I thought it’ll be fun to build one for myself.

Still toying with interfaces and publishing but you can follow along if it gets worked on for both the plugin experiment and the theme here:
